Using the simple and well-thought out interface, you can adjust the Presence and balance between the two gain stages. A pair of switches lets you change the Input stage from High to Low to Bright—which adds highs to the Low setting. The Output stage switch similarly lets you adjust the tonal characteristics with a High, Low, and Dark setting with Dark cutting highs from the High setting. OAMP also features an effects loop that is active when the OAMP is off letting you quickly snap between two different styles and tones.
