Adam A8H

Coming in as one of the loudest monitors of Adam's A-series, the A8H is a three-way powered monitor for analyzing and monitoring a number of different types of audio, be it for music, sound design, or even mixing and mastering. Rocking a completely fresh design for Adam's product lineup, the A8H divides its sound into three distinct drivers for clarity throughout the frequency spectrum, ranging 41Hz to 42kHz. The low and midrange woofers sport Adam's new MLM design of a blended, light-weight mineral base for low distortion and supreme audio playback. Similarly, the refined X-ART AMT tweeter sports even cleaner highs along with a redesigned waveguide for less resonances and more directivity. All three of these drivers divide amongst themselves a whopping 360W of amplified power, pushing a wide dynamic range while still retaining the sonic integrity of your original source.

Along with flexibility for mounting the A8H based on the multiple M8 threaded inserts, it also carries a hefty amount of DSP for carving your monitors to best fit your space. Tailor the A8H to your room with the four-band EQ with multiple selections of cuts and boosts, and further the response of the speaker to work for your profession with the included Voicings—UNR for composition and production or Pure for mixing and mastering. Additional voicings can be uploaded over the Ethernet port via Adam's A Control software, a malleable sound profile for you to shape your A8H to whatever space you're monitoring in. Accepting both balanced and unbalanced analog inputs as well future customization over Ethernet, the A8H provides a brilliant monitoring experience.

Please note that this listing is for the left orientation of the A8H.
