ADDAC System ADDAC206
ADDAC206 Switching Sequencer is a sequential switch that accepts CV and audio signals and is perfect for cycling through signals and creating evolving sequences. It can act in a four input/one output or one input/four output mode. It also features a dedicated digital inverted output.
Each stage has three modes: normal, skip (which removes that step from the available stages), and hold (which holds the sequence at that step). Stages can be selected by an external clock signal, and the module features an internal clock divider which divides the incoming clock signal up to eight times. This means it will take eight clock pulses for the sequence to advance one stage. The sequence can move in three directions: forward, backwards, or a back and forth in a ping pong mode. The direction can be selected by switch or with a CV signal.
Steps can be skipped and the location can be reset back to the first position using the buttons or gate inputs. It also features a 1V/step input which selects what step is active using voltage level. Step one is accessed by 1V, step two with 2V, and so forth. The AC/DC switch determines if the signal has a DC offset. Use the 206 to extend multiple shorter sequences into a longer evolving sequence, switch between audio sources for easy beats, or send a CV signal to four destinations—the applications are practically endless.
