The ADDAC216 Sum & Difference is a two-channel utility module that has the ability to add or subtract signals, allowing for the creation of new signals. Each channel has an X and Y input with an attenuverter to control the level. The signals are then mixed and passed to the Absolute section.

Absolute allows you to change whether the signals are bipolar or rectified to create positive only signals. Then the gain control sets the level of the signal and can even invert the rectified signal. Signals can then be AC or DC coupled and then offset by a bipolar control. The signal is then output at both the output and the inverted output. Additionally, the two channels are summed together and the result is available at the average output.

This complex utility allows for deep control of audio or CV signals and can create complex results from simple building blocks.
