Though it began development as a percussion source, ADDAC's 107 Acid Source turned into a fun, compact synth voice containing an oscillator, resonant filter, and VCA. The VCO is tunable across four octaves with coarse and fine tune controls, and allows for a blend of square and triangle or saw waveforms. The filter, juicy and resonant, offers lowpass, bandpass, and highpass modes. The VCA, rather than being controlled by a built-in envelope generator, is unique in that it can be controlled by any arbitrary external input source. This input signal is then conditioned by a slew circuit to open and close the VCA accordingly. Add a bit of acid to any patch with the ADDAC107 Acid Source.
