AKG P220

The AKG P220 is a multi-purpose large-diaphgram condenser mic with a lot of potential, featuring a 1" true condenser capsule, a fixed cardioid pattern, and a very attractive price point. AKG took special care to design the P220 to be as versatile as possible, sporting an impressive max SPL of 155dB, 20dB pad, and bass roll off at 300Hz, this mic will feel right at home multi-tracking drums, band ensembles, or even cozied up next to a guitar amp.

Being ruggedly constructed from a full metal chassis for durability doesn't mean the P220 sacrifices an ounce of audio quality—its full frequency response of 20Hz–20kHz ensures that you'll capturing an accurate and reliable signal for even the most sensitive of sources. Each P220 comes with a spider shock mount and a metal carrying case.
