Alexander Pedals Superball

Get jumpy with the Alexander Pedals Superball, an experimental and modulatable delay pedal taking movement to the max, inspired by real-life physics. At its core, the Superball starts with a simple delay featuring time and repeat amount as well as some basic filtering and dry/wet mixing. This alone will get you a crisp and stellar digital delay, with two different ranges of delay time to work with, but Superball goes further as you look to the center and subpages of each control. The onboard LFO not only has a multitude of wave shapes to select from, but it can be assigned to any parameter you'd like for a variety of modulated effects including chorusing, vibrato, auto-filtering, and even tremolo.

In addition to the LFO, the onboard sequencer is tied directly to the delay time to create pitch-sequenced effects out of the delay, speeding and slowing it down step by step and pattern by pattern. Superball features several pre-defined sequences, but you can expand further into personalized sequences over MIDI via USB or TRS. Performance-wise, Superball also features a tap tempo footswitch for syncing up your delay, LFO, or sequence to any number of rates you'd like. For further uniqueness and deviation, the tap footswitch can be rearranged into a "bounce" footswitch, bouncing the delay up to ten times its original rate and back down when disengaged.

With a multi-jack for creating performative swells, patch changes, and sequences, the Superball is a fantastic source of rhythmic complexity and wonky elongated timbres.
