Loaded up with two versatile, tube-powered preamps ready to handle any audio source, ART's Digital MPA-II combines analog microphone preamps with digital conversion in a single cohesive package. The pres are equipped with 12AX7 tubes for reliable performance and their excellent penchant for imparting pleasant character onto your audio. The Digital MPA-II offers the capability to select between high and low plate voltages, which can offer higher headroom and cleaner response or more easily pushed into territories of saturation and character. Like many of ART's preamps, the variable impedance control allows engineers to dial in their microphone to perform at its best, subtly tweaking the frequency response to taste for the task at hand.

Analog is only part of the equation in the Digital MPA-II, as it also boasts flexible digital interfacing to integrate into any studio with ease. AES/EBU, optical options, and S/PDIF provide the means to join forces with whatever other gear resides in your workspace. For further ease of use, the front panel offers Digital Level controls for each channel, as well as a configuration knob for your Sample Rate and Dithering preferences.
