The cardioid polar pattern does a fantastic job blocking sounds not coming from directly in front of the microphone and allows for high gain before it begins to feed back. The CKR12 capsule provides exceptional clarity and low distortion. Available right on the microphone is a selectable pad with -10dB and -20dB options, plus a three-position high pass filter that can be set at 40Hz, 80Hz, or 160Hz.
