The MBOX Studio from AVID is a desktop USB-C audio interface that delivers the experience of a professional sound studio to your home recording workflow. With up to 21 inputs and 22 outputs available simultaneously, MBOX offers tons of connectivity for tracking an expansive set of sound sources and effects. Four variable-Z combo 1/4"/XLR jacks with switchable phantom power let you connect condenser mics to capture delicate sound sources like vocals and acoustic instruments, while an additional four line inputs with generous 60dB of gain can happily handle dynamic mic signals. Digital I/O is available via 8-channel ADAT or 2-channel coaxial SPIDF for connecting even more signals and tracking entire ensembles. Two stereo outputs are included, as well as two headphone outs with integrated cue mixing and talkback mic for a professional studio experience.

A perfect interface for guitarists, MBOX features two variable-Z (impedance) instrument inputs for directly recording your guitar rig, as well as a Hi-Z reamplification output to rerecord your takes through pedals and amps for powerful post-performance processing. Two impedance-switching FX loops let you easily integrate any outboard effects into your project. MBOX has two footswitch / expression pedal inputs for controlling effects, as well as a built-in tuner for pitch-perfect performances every time you play.
