The Aurora from Bananana Effects is an eight-mode delay with pitch-shifting, reverse, and speed adjustment that easily creates interesting melodic patterns and lush atmospheres. In the pitch shifting modes, you have the option to feed the delay and feedback into the pitch-shifter going either up or down in 12 chromatic steps, depending on the mode. Two speed modes let you speed up the delay audio to 2x or 4x the original rate with one mode, Trigger Speed Up, adding an envelope trigger to the delay so it only fills up the buffer after reaching the threshold. Four reverse delays open up the world of smooth ambience with a regular Reverse, Cascade Reverse that reverses the delay at .5x, 1x, and 2x speed; Multi Reverse that plays back .5x, 1x, and 2x all simultaneously, and finally a Reverse Trigger that functions similarly to the Speed Up Trigger, insofar as it adds an envelope that refills the delay based on your playing.
