The dbx 1231 is a dual-channel 31-band graphic equalizer that is a fantastic tool for mastering in studio or live sound. The 31 bands are divided into 1/3 octave sections and feature switchable +/-6dB or +/-15dB boost/cut for wide or fine control of EQ level with the 45mm faders. Additional optional filtering is available on a switchable 18dB 40Hz low cut filter.

Inputs and outputs are available on TRS, XLR, and barrier strips which are electronically balanced/unbalanced with gain that goes from +/-12dB and feature RF filtering to eliminate noise. Any ground hum is also eliminated with the integrated chassis/signal ground lift capabilities. The 1231 was designed to be used maintenance free in any application and uses high quality parts throughout for 90dB signal to noise ratio and less than -80dB of crosstalk.
