dbx PB-48
The dbx PB-48 is a 48-point TRS balanced patchbay, a perfect candidate for the routing hub of your studio. The ¼" phone jacks are divided into two sets of 24 pairs, all housed on 24 cards and provide the option to be half-normalled or de-normalled.
In a normalled configuration, the audio signal is connected between the upper and lower jacks, without the need for another patch cable, and patching into the front panel jacks breaks the normalled connection of the rear. Half normalled means a top input jack on the front doesn't break the normalled connection on the rear but splits the signal to two destinations, useful for monitoring or parallel effects processing. When patched into the lower front input, the normalization is broken. De-normalled means no normalled connections, just a straight passthrough from front to rear.
The PB-48 is an essential studio tool to provide routing between various signal sources and connections within your rack mount setup.
