Behold Whammy 5—the fifth generation of the legendary pitchshifter pedal from Digitech, now better and more powerful than ever before. While the new version faithfully retains all the features of the previous incarnations of the pedal, it now sports a new Chords mode, which allows for unprecedentedly clean and jitter-free pitchshifter no matter whether it is a single note or a full blown chord. The same variety of single interval and harmonic shifts are available in the new version, as well as the detune modes. DigiTech also preserved the interface, so you will still feel at home, only with better tone. There is certainly a reason why this classic design is loved by generations of musicians, and it is a pleasure to see that it only gets better with age.
