Doepfer's Basic System 2 is a tailor-made modular synth system meant to slide seamlessly into any electronic music studio setup. With all the typical analog synth building blocks and extensive modulation and clocking options, this system is fully capable of everything from classic analog synth tones to outlandish sonic weirdness; and with a built-in MIDI to CV converter, it's simple to control it from a MIDI keyboard, computer, or to simply sync the system to external sources. The Doepfer Low Cost LC6 case's unfinished wood exterior assumes a pleasant presence in the studio, while the beefy PSU3 supply contained inside offfers plenty of clean power to keep noise at a minimum.
