The infamous Memory Boy, from Electro-Harmonix, is an exceptionally smooth analog delay pedal inspired by the Memory Man and Deluxe Memory Man. Building on the latter’s architecture, the Memory Boy adds some ingenious modulation features alongside an expression pedal input that affords remote control over the delay time or modulation rate. 

The pedal’s 550ms delay time means users can venture into abyssal sonic territories that border on the infinite. What’s more, this can be altered at will via three-way toggle switch, which imparts either a vibrato or chorus effect, or add an external expression pedal for precise control over the time and rate parameters.
