Electro-Voice RE320

The RE320 from Electro-Voice produces the wonderful smooth tones found in the original RE20 with some enhancements for better work in both broadcasting and music production. Featuring the iconic Variable-D shape, the RE320's cardioid response not only helps minimize proximity effect but also lowers tonal shifts in off-axis positioning to the source. Internal pop-filtering makes it easy for quick setup with a vocalist without worrying about plosives and the integrated humbucking coil helps take out any hum obtained from a ground loop. Unique to the RE320, a dual-voice switch allows you to set the microphone up for tons of general purpose use or more tailored for bassier voices and instruments via the kick-drum curve option. With dynamic response and input handling and the clarity of a condenser microphone, the RE320 is a brilliant and unparalleled detail microphone for a variety of uses.
