Elektron Analog Heat +FX

More than simply a MkIII version, Elektron's Analog Heat +FX contains both the beloved analog distortion circuitry and an array of contemporary effects such as delay, reverb, and more. As far as effects processors are concerned, it's hard to think of another hardware unit as capable as Analog Heat +FX. Not only in terms of the effects themselves but also in their configurability and control.

Starting with the familiar bits, eight different drive circuits are the source of Heat in the Analog Heat +FX. Ranging from Clean Boost and subtle Saturation to Round Fuzz and High Gain, these eight circuits may be selected based on the desired amount of decimation needed for your instrument or mix. As with previous versions, there's also a flexible multi-mode filter with resonance on hand to carve away or emphasize different frequencies. Lowpass, highpass, bandpass, notch, and peak—you have plenty of options to choose from to enhance your sounds. And if you still need more, use the two-band equalizer to further boost or cut lows and highs.

As for what's new, Analog Heat +FX provides the latest and greatest versions of effects found in Elektron synthesizers, plus a host of options never-before seen in their products. Essential time effects like chorus, delay, and reverb are all available as needed, while others such as the lo-fi Warble block and compressor aid complement the analog drive and filtering elements. For even more flexibility, the order of effects can be changed as desired—just like a virtual pedalboard filled with your favorite effects.

Analog Heat +FX also expands on the modulation and control capabilities of the originals. Three LFOs, an envelope follower, and external control sources are mappable to nearly any effect parameter, truly putting the "dynamic" in Dynamic Sound Processor. Of course, Overbridge support returns, allowing the Analog Heat +FX to practically behave like a DAW plugin. Elektron's bringing the heat in its best form yet—lift and enhance your mixes with the Analog Heat +FX.
