Elysia mpressor2 qube

Ready to drop into studios of any size, elysia's mpressor2 qube packs plenty of dynamics processing power into an attractive form factor. The back side of the qube chassis provides two channels of input and output, with dedicated sets of balanced XLR or TRS jacks available, depending on your connection needs. Time and energy was also well spent in developing a low-noise power supply just for the qube series, ensuring that it's ready to go right out of the box. Each qube case is also connectable and stackable with other qubes, creating a flexible, modular system to join together as many as you need.

This member of their qube series is loaded up with two of their award-winning mpressor 500 modules, featuring discrete Class-A circuitry and several neat features that are capable of creatively managing the dynamics of your signals. For starters, while it offers a selection of standard compression ratios working their way up towards limiter functionality, it also features some unique negative ratio settings. Where standard settings will compress a signal towards the threshold level, the negative ratios will begin pushing the output signal lower than the threshold, decreasing volume while increasing compression for extreme sound transformation. There's also an Anti Log curve that can be engaged for the compressor release circuit, swapping the standard linear curve for one which will speed up the release phase as the input signal level decreases. This is super handy for working with drums or any signal with prominent transients, but can lead to countless other interesting applications.

With the mpressor2 qube, dialing in dynamics to your needs is easy, immediate, and satisfying. The settings on the two identical modules are easily matched thanks to their segmented controls, but can of course be used for totally different sounds with unique settings on their own. Whether you're just starting out with 500 series hardware or looking for some helpful additions to your studio, the elysia mpressor2 qube won't let you down.
