Empress Compressor MKII Pedal

Building upon the groundwork laid out by high-end studio equipment and the original version of their own compressor pedal, Empress Effects presents the fully revamped Compressor MKII for high-performance dynamic control. The signal path is all analog, and the sound is incredibly transparent, adding no color to your input signal. Three compressor ratios and input and output controls set the amount of compression. Shape the overall reaction of the compression with the independent attack and release controls. Mix between the dry and compressed signal using the mix knob.

A TRS sidechain send and return input on a 3.5mm jack provide a fantastic way to sidechain the compression against an external source with a selectable sidechain high pass filter. The tone knob controls the tilt-style filter with a center frequency of 500Hz, letting you dial in the perfect tone for your style. Clear LED indication of input and gain reduction levels shows precisely how the compressor acts on your signals. Way beyond a standard guitar pedal, this compressor ventures into the realm of high-end studio equipment to deliver incredible sound quality and dynamic control.
