Erica Synths Black High Pass VCF

Great for processing hi-hats, claps, or any signal where you want to drop out the low end, the Erica Synths Black series High Pass VCF has you covered. Adjust the input level pre-filter, and engage the drive post-filter with the flip of a switch to produce a variety of timbres. With its steep 24dB-per-octave response, sweeping this filter's cutoff frequency, either manually or with its two frequency CV inputs, can produce dramatic spectral effects, especially with the resonance engaged. With the resonance knob set past 12 noon, the filter core will begin to self-oscillate, which when combined with the drive switch can produce striking timbral effects. Designed by Erica Synths as part of a suite of Moog 904-style filters for the Black series, the High Pass VCF makes for a great pairing with the Black Low Pass VCF and Black VCF Coupler.
