The ESI U86 XT is an 8 input, 6 output audio interface: a perfect mid-level solution for the artist who is one step past being a bedroom producer. The interface features 2 XLR/TRS hybrid inputs with their own preamps, as well as 8 TRS 1/4in inputs on its backend. The audio card also features 6 1/4 in TRS line outputs that can be used to connect to any number of reference monitors, as well as a stereo headphone out. Additionally, the interface features digital S/PDIF input and output via RCA connections on the back. This interface is a great device for any home studio that has a need for a larger number of inputs!
