Electronics in Music is a reissue of the historical text written by F.C. Judd, originally published in 1972. The book describes various concepts assigned to early electronic musical instruments and sound synthesis and features detailed circuit diagrams. Frederick Judd himself is known as an early Britsh pioneer of electronic music, who was spreading awareness about the field not only emphasizing the act of listening to newly emerged sonic landscape, but also encouraging people to experiment with tape machines, tone generators, and other electronic music equipment. Often in his trips and lectures on the subjects related to electronic music, Judd was accompanied by a fellow researcher Daphne Oram.
