You'll find input level controls with Dynamic Gain Halos surrounding them for easy indication of signal levels, with plenty of gain on tap for boosting dynamic microphones, instruments, and more to optimal signal levels. Of course, 48V phantom power is available for condenser microphones, alongside Focusrite's unique Air circuit that can add high-end interest to any instrument.

Of course, getting sounds into your recordings is only part of the equation—you need to be able to hear what's going on too! Thankfully, Scarlett Solo makes monitoring a breeze—set the big Output level control as desired for your studio monitors or use the newly added headphones level control to hear yourself while wearing a pair of cans. In either case, the Direct button allows you to pass input signals straight to the monitoring outputs, bypassing the digital converters and eliminating latency when tracking with precision is necessary.
