MTX8 is a pin matrix mixer that allows you to route up to eight inputs to up to eight outputs, it's perfect as the central hub to your effects rack, allowing you to mix and match signal routing conveniently. It uses an EMS-style pin matrix interface that allows you to connect any of the eight input channels to any of the eight output channels. It can be thought of like both eight buffered multiples with eight mixers. The construction is solid and the front panel is laminated and can be written on with a dry-erase marker. The input and outputs are mono unbalanced ¼", making it suited for use with guitar effects pedals, but it can also be used with modular gear. This version includes a Tube Screamer style preamp with clipping, great as a way to add harmonic interest to your guitar or any other signal plugged into the first input. Reorder your entire pedalboard without unplugging everything, route complex feedback paths, and experiment with signal routing with a simple pin interface.
