Building on their line of exceptional sounding, DSP-based effects, the Rossie dynamic multi-mode filter pedal from GFI System is a feature-rich powerhouse that takes up a minimal amount of space. Each mode on the Rossie allows access to four different filter types: Lowpass, Highpass, Bandpass, and Peaking, with all adding subtle or extreme timbral modulation to your signal chain. Dial in classic auto-wah sounds with the Envelope Mode and use an expression pedal to gain control over any parameter in Manual Mode—or simply use it to roll off frequencies and make adjustments with the knobs. But it's the Step Mode that makes this pedal truly stand out with up to eight selectable steps that allow you to change the frequency of each step, and a random mode that constantly adjusts the amplitude.

For added control, map an expression pedal to one of the three primary parameters or you can trigger an automated Ramp to modulate between one pedal state and another, which can also be applied to Heel-Toe expression pedal values. Additionally, the Ramp button can act as a Momentary switch allowing quick moments of skittering fluctuations, drastic tone changes, or a subtle boost in frequencies when needed most. GFI System's Rossie can easily slip into any effect chain to add that little bit of sauce you were looking for.
