Incoming audio signals hit the preamp first, utilizing the same design as the 73JR and a custom transformer co-designed by Heritage Audio and Carnhill. From there, there's an expanded EQ providing more features than previous 73 offerings, offering new bell modes for the high and low shelves, and maintains full-bodied presence even at extreme settings. For the compressor section, Heritage Audio has thrown in the same circuit as the Successor. With a 5-setting sidechain filter and external input, and the option for applying compression before or after the EQ, it's a highly versatile element for sound sculpting.
