Heritage Audio Súper 8 8-Channel Microphone Preamp

Add analog warmth and feel into your digital setup with the Súper 8 from Heritage Audio, an eight-channel analog preamp with ADAT and analog outputs. Using 8 of their 1073 style preamps with Carnhill input and output transformers plus Tantalum and Styroflex capacitors, you can be sure that you get all of that vintage, analog juice from your signal. Each channel has a switchable line input button to change which type of signal it is expecting, a 180 degree phase button, and LoCut button for reducing 80Hz by -3db. Channels 1 and 2 are unique in that they feature a LO-Z button which will change the input impedance, a pad button to reduce the input -20db, a JFET D.I., as well as a fully sweepable LoCut filter.

Connections abound with Súper 8's independent analog outputs per channel, as well as DB25 connectors of line inputs and outputs. The real jewel of this device is the premium 24-bit ADC that can go up 192kHz and is the engine behind the ADAT, SPDIF, and AES/EBU digital outputs. Also available via DB25 is a unique return path that lets you add extra equipment, like an EQ or Compressor, to any channel independently. When doing this, you can choose whether the DAW receives input from the preamp directly, or after the return. Effectively giving you two input options per channel.

Heritage Audio's Súper 8 is the perfect centerpiece for your hybrid studio setup bridging the gap between analog and digital without compromise.
