Great for smaller and intimate settings, JBL's 3 Series features the 305P MKII, a five-inch powered reference monitor with a fantastic build and sonic shaping capabilities. The 305P MKII provides a powerful two-way bi-amp setup with a one-inch soft-dome high frequency driver and a five-inch low frequency driver capable of producing quality and clear signals at both commercial and professional levels. The 305P MKII can be easily paired in the studio with a DAC or audio interface, or even setup in the booth with a DJ mixer, offering both XLR and TRS 1/4" balanced signal inputs for such multiple use cases. Easily tame the high frequency response via the HF Trim on the back for additional or subtracted shelf gain as well as low frequency control from the Boundary EQ, carving the low end if your 305P MKIIs sit on a desk or against a wall.

New to the MKII's are patented technology borrowed from JBL's classic M2 15" mastering monitors, including Image Control Waveguide, Slip Stream low frequency port, as well as JBL's fantastic Linear Spatial Reference design. The Image Control Waveguide feature provides more clarity in subtle details as well as multiple "sweet spots" in your space so you don't have to precisely position yourself in a room, and the Slip Stream port makes warm and deep bass quite audible in tandem with the woofer. To work in multiple types of spaces, JBL incorporated their fantastic Linear Spatial Reference design in the newest iteration of their 3 series to improve the on-axis as well as reflections transparency.
