JHS Pedals Overdrive Preamp

Based on the very first version of DOD's legendary Gray Box 250 pedal, the JHS Overdrive Preamp is a recreation of the rarely seen pedal. The most common early DOD 250 is the Gray Box, however, JHS stumbled on an exceptionally rare version 1 of the Overdrive Preamp 250. This one was the size of an old EHX Memory Man, with strange graphics and populated with old radio parts. A lost piece of pedal history has now been recreated in the Overdrive Preamp pedal by JHS. Nastier, grittier and with more gain, the Overdrive Preamp from JHS adds a beefier, low/mid frequency spectrum. After finding one earlier version, a second early version of the pedal was found with a different clipping arrangement and so, a switch that goes between these two clipping circuits is included for experimentation.
