Korg Volca Nubass
Korg adds yet another entry to their Volca series with the Volca Nubass: an analog bass machine that utilizes Korg's Nutube technology for added warmth and grit. The Nutube is a small, easily-drivable VFD-based vacuum tube that provides its own unique warmth and saturation to any sound.
The Volca Nubass features two of these tubes. The first is integrated into the oscillator; the second is utilized in a drive circuit for the sub-oscillator, providing a thick foundation to layer with the main sound.
The Nubass also features a transistor ladder filter that is perfect for rounded bass sounds. This makes the Nubass the perfect little rave machine for musicians who are looking to test every part of the PA!

The latest Korg Volca is a new bass synth or rather Nubass with miniature integrated vacuum tubes. The Nubass features not only the Korg nutubes for drive and saturation, but also a sub oscillator and ladder filter for deep and gritty bass sounds.
Korg Volca Nubass Compact Vacuum Tube Bass Synth
The Korg Volca Nubass is a compact bass synth with vacuum tube based oscillators and a transistor ladder based filter. It also features a sequencer that is great for acid basslines.
The tubes have a nice gritty sound and the filter cutoff is the largest knob on the synth for easy tweaking. Since this is a Volca it is battery powered and easy to sync with all of the other Volcas. We added drums with the Elektron Digitakt, but used the internal sequencer on the Volca Nubass.
