With Wavestate Mk2, Korg brings a few welcome additions to their powerful Wave Sequencing keyboard synthesizer, including increased polyphony, internal sample storage, and numerous cosmetic and performance improvements. Wavestate Mk2, building upon the previous version as well as the legacy Wavestation synthesizer, merges wave sequencing with vector synthesis for a unique sound and workflow that will continue to awe and inspire.

Inspired by the modern resurgence of modular synthesis workflows, Wave Sequencing 2.0 offers unmatched capabilities for endlessly evolving variations of waveforms, samples, and parameter values within Wavestate's engine. These are enhanced by macro controls, the onboard arpeggiator, and a handful of envelope generators and LFOs to bring more life and dynamics to your sounds. Alternatively, give the Random button a few times for results that may surprise and inspire you to try things you never would have considered on your own.

New for Wavestate Mk2, polyphony has been increased from 64 to 96 voices, allowing for even more dense and layered textures to be created. This extends to user-imported samples, with Wavestate Mk2 now offering double the amount of storage space at 4GB. The effects engine remains in place, offering stacks of up to 14 different effects at once to create even more transformations upon your sounds.

With over 1000 possible Wave Sequences and the ability to merge and blend Programs into Performances, Wavestate Mk2 is a source of endless sonic possibilities.
