Forgoing the keyboard for a sleek desktop or rack-mountable form factor, Korg's Wavestate Module contains all the power of the MkII edition of the Wave Sequencing synthesizer. Inspired by Korg's legacy Wavestation and building upon the original Wavestate, the Module matches the MkII version's 96 voices of polyphony and expanded internal memory, offering ample opportunities for constructing compositions and exploring sonic possibilities.

The Wavestate workflow draws inspiration from the revived interest in modular synthesis, while also merging vector synthesis with Korg's concept of wave sequencing. The resulting Wave Sequencing 2.0 engine puts dynamic performance and modulation of waveforms, samples, and parameters at your disposal. With the addition of macro controls, a powerful onboard arpeggiator, and extensive LFOs and envelope generators, continuously evolving sounds are within easy reach. And if you wanna leave some things up to chance, the adjustable Random feature can surprise and inspire you with things you may not have considered yourself.

The extensive internal effects engine allows you to stack up to 14 different effects at once, immersing your sounds in sparkle and sheen without the need for external pedals or plugins. Of course, the Wavestate MkII Module omits the keyboard and pitch/mod wheels, but MIDI I/O plus USB connection allows you to incorporate your favorite controller or DAW with no trouble at all. Best of all, new software updates bring the Wavestate firmware up to date with support for MIDI 2.0 and polyphonic aftertouch, pairing exceptionally well with Korg's Keystage controllers.
