Using their custom 32mm transducer, a natural compression and balance is imparted on any sound source—proudly the LA-220 is not a flat-response mic, it has a musical character that is designed to enhance anything it records. The signal path is crisp and clear thanks to high quality, hand-soldered, polypropylene capacitors and resistors built around a US-made JFET with vintage inspired output transformer.
