Dressed up in a special limited-edition white, Line 6's HX Stomp XL boasts an abundance of effects and amp models.to spice up your guitar and bass tones, but of course it works great with any other instrument, too. The Line 6 HX Stomp XL is a multi-effects pedal loaded with over 300 amp models and effects for a full range of processing capabilities. It captures the best parts of the HX series and uses the same SHARC DSP chip found in other Helix products. It runs up to eight processing blocks simultaneously, controlled by the eight color-coded capacitive-touch footswitches. These footswitches' function ranges from selecting presets to engaging individual processing blocks to even changing parameters on the fly. Connect two footswitches or expression pedals for more foot-based control over the HX Stomp XL.

Use MIDI messages to switch presets or control individual parameters with external MIDI equipment. The stereo effects loop lets you add external pedals into the signal path to add an extra dimension to your sound. Select between four banks of presets, including 128 factory presets, optimized for a range of applications, including bass guitars. Load up third-party impulse response presets to expand the library of sound at your fingertips or your feet. Connect to your computer via the USB port to access all the processing blocks and make changes to presets or parameters. Plus, the pedal even doubles as a 24-bit/96kHz USB audio interface, allowing it to act as the core of your guitar-based recording setup.
