The Line 6 POD Go is a multi-effects pedal that can act as your whole effects chain, combining extensive effects processing with amp and speaker modeling. It allows you to combine up to six effect blocks which include 270+ effects, amps, and speaker modeling. These can be saved as a preset and recalled on the fly. Up to four snapshots per preset allow for four sounds per preset available at the push of a footswitch. This allows for seamless transitions within a preset without audio dropout or delay/reverb glitches.

The POD Go's signal path can be reconfigured easily for different effect behaviors. Put your reverb before your distortion or put your amp at the beginning of your signal chain—it's up to you. The large screen and color-coded footswitches provide clear feedback of all of a sound's most important parmeters at any given moment.

POD Go has an on-board expression pedal which can be used as a wah or volume control. An external footswitch or dual foot pedal can be connected on the back of the unit for additional expression options. Five knobs are available for adjusting parameters, but more can be accessed with different pages. Connect other effects into your chain with the send and return loop, which can be used in mono or stereo operation.

Third party speaker cabinet impulse responses, IRs, can be loaded onto the POD Go, allowing you to greatly expand its selection of tones. Additionally, the POD Go works as an audio interface for recording straight to your computer, offering up to 24-bit/96kHz quality. The POD Go Edit app allows access to all parameters on the POD Go and lets you update existing presets and make new ones.
