Manley's Mid Frequency EQ is a fantastic take on the classic Pultec equalizer design, specialized in taming and enhancing mid-range frequencies found in vocals, guitars, and so much more. The passive design features three bell-shaped bands that offer set frequency options ranging 200Hz to 7kHz with peaking and dipping up to +/-12dB. This unique set of frequency options with close ranges between the bands make for easy access in applying unusual sonic characteristics, and with how sharp and narrow the bell curves get, you can really use the Mid Frequency EQ as a fine-point cleanup and adjustment tool. Manley supplies both transformer and transformerless inputs and outputs with an additional phase invert option for balanced inputs, and the high-voltage tube amplification makes for an extremely high-amount of headroom.
