Mu-Tron Micro-Tron IV

Micro-Tron IV from Mu-Tron brings the classic and funky sounds of envelope filtering to your pedalboard. Adding depth and talkative qualities to anything you feed through it, the Micro-Tron IV has three filter shapes for sculpting classic wah tones, from low pass to more squelchy and brighter tones with the band and high pass options. Additionally, you can define where in the frequency range the envelope affects the signal via the Range switch, where Lo is better for bassier instruments and high accentuates upper harmonics. Adding Peak will increase the resonance of the cutoff frequency while Gain sets the overall level of envelope modulation as well as inscreasing the filter's drive.

Micro-Tron IV's envelope, shaping the filter automation, is based on what you feed it, processed via the fantastic stylings of the MU Opto-Mod technology found in the earlier Micro-Tron III. Control which direction the envelope progresses with the Up/Down switch, and bypass the effect altogether with the Effect switch. Control the filter with just the envelope or in addition to external control via the CV input. The envelope can not only affect the filter cutoff, but can also affect any other CV accepting pedal or instrument/module via the CV out on the back. Bring creative filtering and shaping to your effects chain with Mu-Tron's Micro-Tron IV.
