Noise Engineering Clep Diaz

The Clep Diaz from Noise Engineering is a frenetic and fantastic clock-driven sync source that offers a plethora of options to add shifting and shuffling textures into your patches. The module functions around a pair of switches. The first switch on the Clep Diaz controls the behavior of your CV output. The switch consists of three stages which include: Step, Random, and LFO.

Step mode functions as a stepped voltage sequencer, with three different directions that are dependent on Clep Diaz's second switch. Random mode utilizes the same steps in your sequence but plays them back in random order. LFO mode, the module behaves like a noise LFO whose frequency is tied to the rate of the clock input. The second switch determines the direction of your sequence. This allows an incredibly high degree of playability on the module making it perfect as a contact point for denser patches. This version of the Clep Diaz comes with a stylish new black panel that adds a little extra class to an already sumptuously elegant module.

Noise Engineering's Clep Diaz
Clep Diaz is a handy and small step CV and LFO generator in Eurorack format. In step and random modes, use the encoder to control the number of steps (up to 32) in the sequence; in LFO mode, the encoder controls the amplitude of the wave. Toggle the directionality of the sequence: up, down, or up/down to customize the CVs further. The Clep Diaz also gives CV control over the number of steps in the sequence and a beginning-of-cycle trigger output. Unipolar and bipolar outputs allow maximal control.
