Nord's Stage 4 compact is the latest incarnation of their flagship piano, organ, and synthesizer instrument, boasting 73 semi-weighted keys, high quality effects, and an interface that encourages inspiration almost instantly. Divided into three sections, the Stage 4 gives you completely redesigned sound engines for the Piano, Organ, and Synth sections. Designed to work with the new Triple Pedal 2 and Sustain Pedal 2 with their own inputs, while featuring the latest Triple Sensing Keybed, the Nord Stage Piano is great for studio or stage.

The Organ section has Nord's incredible simulations of the Hammond B3, Vox, Farfisa, and pipe organs, complete with physical drawbars with LED indications and rotary speaker emulation. Based on the powerful Nord Wave 2 engine, the Synth section features three independent layers and uses sample-based, virtual analog, FM and wavetable synthesis to create sounds that are vintage or modern. The Piano engine has an extensive collection of grand and upright pianos along with electric piano sounds with added string resonance features and pedal noise for an authentic acoustic sound and playing feel.

Nord's Stage 4 finishes the signal with a brand new Effects section independent to for each layer. Effects include: multiple reverb types including cathedral and spring, a redesigned Spin effect, new Pump effect, and Space delay, along with others.
