From Presonus comes R80 V2, a larger studio monitor capable of presenting high-fidelity audio with loud and clear response, great for analyzing, mixing, and mastering. The 8" custom coated, woven composite LF driver offers dynamics that aren't heard in more common woofer designs, and the stable and firm cone shape creates transparent sound with accurate frequency response. R80 V2's high frequencies come across with detail and precision thanks to the custom-made 6.8" Air Motion Transformer (AMT) tweeter. The unique housing of the AMT tweeter projects the highs specifically on the horizontal axis while projecting up tp 13 times the amount a traditional tweeter can, pushing air and rocking high end. The result is mild sound dispersion on the vertical axis, minimizing unwanted reflections off your furniture, ceiling, and floor.

Acoustic tuning controls allow you to fit your R80 V2s in any room, compensating for inconsistencies such as resonant frequencies or natural occurrences of phase cancellation. The biamped nature splits 140W of Class D power across the LF driver (75W) and HF tweeter (65W), offering power that ranks highly among speakers in its category. Working with audio interfaces, mixers, and much more, the R80 V2 offers balanced XLR & 1/4" TRS and unbalanced RCA inputs.
