Radial Engineering KL-8

As the bigger brother to the Key-Largo mixer, Radial Engineering's KL-8 is a rackmount mixing station designed to handle multiple channels of audio from hardware and software keyboard and synthesizer instruments. Up to four stereo keyboards may be connected to the rear inputs, all of which provide LED level indicators, On switches, plus Level and Aux controls. Channel four shares panel space with the USB connectors, which allow a connected computer to stream in audio from softsynths or playback tracks. There's actually two redundant ports on the rear, and a switch on the front allows a tech to switch over to the backup rig in the event of a catastrophe.

As for outputs, KL-8 has you covered, too. Separate Monitor and Main outputs with dedicated Ground Lift witches allow for independent connection to stage monitors and the PA. Each input channel also allows for routing to a Cue bus, which is available at the headphone outputs on the right. The Auxiliary loops may be used for effects processing, or other routing purposes as required by your rig. Should you need to control the KL-8 yourself, it may be remotely connected to Radial's JR-1 footswitch. And should you need larger mixing solutions, multiple units may be chained together through the Link ports on the back. Assume control of your keyboards on a professional level with the KL-8.
