Radial Engineering's OX8-r is a rack mount passive microphone signal splitter sporting eight channels of high quality output transformers and loads of routing possibilities. For fast access to inputs, the OX8-r features XLR connection per channel on the front while DB-25 and Euro-Block connections live on the back for less cable clutter. Sporting three output collections, OX8-r's isolated output implements ground lifting while one of the two direct outputs has an engageable ground lift, making it easy to pass clean audio to multiple places without nasty hum and noise. Along with -20dB pads per channel for handling hotter signals, the OX8-r features the same quality as the OX8-j but instead uses Radial exclusive Eclipse MS10 transformers for a much more affordable price.
