Raw Yaw Media Dizygote

Dizygote from Raw Yaw Media is a dual-algorithm digital oscillator with switchable output modes and an integrated envelope/VCA combo. The "A-side" oscillator is based around adding frequencies to a square wave via frequency modulation, while the "B-side" offers a different but complimentary tonal palette through phase distortion of a sine wave. Both oscillators share knobs and CV inputs for modulation depth, modulation frequency, and 1V/octave pitch.

Manually pressing the switch button or sending a trigger to the switch CV input routes the output of either oscillator or a mix of both to the stereo outputs. Using a long press on this switch allows you to further customize this output as either stereo or dual-mono for separate processing of the two oscillators. An integrated simple envelope and VCA make the Dizygote a fully capable additive voice in just 10 HP, making it perfect for smaller systems. A slightly snappier copy of this envelope can also be patched elsewhere from Dizygote's envelope output for further modulation in your system. With a double-dose of modular functionality in such a small package, Dizygote is sure to find a useful place alongside other voices in your rack, or as the centerpiece of a small and flexible system.
