Focusing heavily on the sound of tape machines of the past, Cutting Room Floor gives you full control over the overall tape saturation via the tape level. Apply the imperfections of pitch and speed found in tape via the flutter and wow controls, providing fast and slow modulation, respectively. Cutting Room Floor's shape control determines the shape of modulation the flutter applies, offering smooth and flowing triangle modulation or choppier and jumpier square modulation.

On top of a stellar tape saturator and texturizer, Cutting Room Floor features a beautiful tape-processed elay with independent level and time controls. Delay time can be modulated via external CV and the amount of feedback is dictated by the S/R switch, offering a simple single repeat for slap-back effects or repeated memories. Extra functionality such as tape stability to turn off flutter as well as a freeze functionality to loop certain sections of audio makes Cutting Room Floor equally solid as a creative effect as it is an audio colorizing effect.
