Reviving a classic sound of acid and techno, Roland's TB-03 is a new yet familiar take on their classic TB-303 for the Boutique series. With a similar layout to the original and some additional sound and programming functionality, the TB-03 replicates the warmth and squelch of the past through their advanced ACB (Analog Circuit Behavior) technology. Get those sonically pleasing slips and slides of the classic saw or square wave through a highly performable, resonant low pass filter as well as original controls over tuning, filter, envelope, and accent. The inclusion of overdrive and delay with control over the time and feedback offer further sound design opportunities that many in the past had to do through separate effects units and processing.

The classic sequencer not only features the original pitch and time write modes, but now features a step write mode as well as functionality to play back and swap between write modes. The TB-03 includes further enhancements to the step sequencer with fine-tempo control and shuffle as well as an LCD screen to manage values across the device. You can get things synced up the old-school way with the analog trigger input, while MIDI and USB allow complete integration with external sequencers, grooveboxes, and your DAW. With capability to utilize the sequencer with other modular gear via the CV & Gate outputs, the TB-03 from Roland is the perfect device to integrate the tasty sound of the '80s and '90s with the functionality of your modern studio and live setup.
