Roland’s HandSonic HPD-20 is an expansive percussion instrument that can be used in a variety of different ways. The unit features Roland’s famous SuperNATURAL sound engine, a variety of multi-effects, as well as 850 stock sounds with the additional ability for users to create and store their own via the HPD-20’s built-in flash memory. 

The unit’s 13 pads provide ample control options for the internal sounds and external MIDI instruments. It is also adept at controlling virtual instruments and as a controller for both MIDI and audio performance.
