JHS presents the newly reissued ROSS Distortion pedal, a 1970s style hard-clipping circuit filled with tube-like character. The 70s introduced countless classic hard-clipping distortions, including the ProCo Rat, MXR's Distortion Plus, and the ubiquitous BOSS DS-1. Of course, the ROSS Distortion falls into this category too, lending some characterful crunch to any guitar rig. The Level and Distortion controls are easily understood, but the side-mounted mode switch toggles between Germanium and Silicon voicings derived from two different eras of the classic ROSS Distortion. Introduce some thick drive to your rig with the ROSS Distortion.
