The SolidGoldFX Lysis MKII is a polyphonic octave fuzz modulator pedal designed to completely transform the sound of your guitar, synth, bass, and more. It takes the already groundbreaking design of the original Lysis and elevates it to new heights, introducing a range of innovative features and enhanced functionality that expand the possibilities for player expression and versatility.

With the Lysis MKII, SolidGoldFX aimed to bridge the gap between the worlds of strings and synths. This pedal combines thick and resonant filters, multiple polyphonic voicings, and sweeping LFOs, all enveloped in the rich textures of an analog square-wave fuzz. It's a sonic playground for any instrument you choose to connect.

At the heart of the Lysis MKII lies a discrete JFET preamp and high-gain fuzz circuit, which feed into a digital polyphonic voice and filter generator. The signal then passes through a discrete transistor output stage, offering the best of both analog and digital signal processing for a truly unique sonic experience.

While the high-pass and low-pass filters from the previous generation remain, SolidGoldFX has also introduced a new tap tempo LFO with a wide selection of 33 different triangle, sine, and square waveshapes. Coupled with three preset resonance settings, you have the flexibility to achieve gentle modulation or bold rhythmic sweeps. The Voice selector has also been expanded, now including the previous octave down setting, as well as a new octave down/octave up voicing and our Super Power Chord, which combines octave down and fifth pitch shifting.
