Omnisphere, from Spectrasonics, is a multifaceted and hyper-powerful software synthesizer that provides many avenues for constructing unique sounds. Create incredible textures or mangled synths with the granular function, or upload custom audio files to craft an array of unique and dynamic sounds ranging from melodic to percussive to totally spaced out. Users can mobilize Omnisphere's wavetable engine to create morphing synthesizer movements with ample room for variation. 

Omnisphere also includes a standard oscillator-based synthesis engine with over 400 DSP waveforms, 8 new filter types, resonators, the new Unison Drift effect, expanded modulation, poly LFO, modulation envelopes, and over 12,000 sounds including high-quality sampled acoustic instruments. With all this and more users will never reach the limits of Omnisphere's sonic potential.

As of version 2.5, Omnisphere offers advanced mapping features, allowing for direct control from a number of popular synthesizers from Dave Smith/Sequential, Korg, Roland, and more.
